Pinkaboo was always very supportive of them and tried to help them they based she could so it's understandable why they are angry. As a result, a lot of the artists are pulling out of the con THREE WEEKS before it begins and are hosting a separate concert in a close-by venue.

And Black Gryph0n was prematurely pulled from the line-up, but for obvious reasons. (and MomoCon took him off the guest list too).

Well that's what years of "love and tolerance" does to a community, the Brony fandom became the de-facto dumping ground of the Internet back then, i think it wouldn't be exaggerated to say Bronies were all too willing to let anyone in, even people too unhinged for the Sonic fandom.

I remember a few of their names having to change because Hasbro didn't actually own the rights.

She had G1 toys that she based OCs on, yes. But a lot of things she said point out she either only saw G3 cartoons and G1 special (Tirac movie), or no G1 toon at all.
A lot of FIM elements, even aesthetics, are thoroughly G3, and I could even argue lanky alicorns may be inspired by G2, who had unicorns with clip-on wings.

Yeah, it gets overlooked due to Hasbro somehow fumbling G2 harder than G% in the US and basically existing as a euro toy from 1998 to 2003, a lot of G4 was reworked from G3 which reworked a lot of G2 even if it’s hard to tell with how G3 feels like someone let RLM make a parody of kids shows.
