I used to be a fan (uurp) of Rev back when he was a YouTube version of r/animememes, but after he posted IRL videos in 2020-ish things got noticeably weird. Around that time I think he was transitioning (lol) to vtuber drama, then at some point thereafter he started covering culture shit. I'm not surprised that he's a faggot since everyone on animetube is, and I've always had the impression he was into loli but holy shit I didn't realize it was that bad.
It's somewhat impressive he's managed to stay big after switching audiences 3 times, and it definitely has to do with his ability to stay in the algorithm as others have mentioned in the thread. I haven't watched a video of his in 3 years, yet I still can't get this guy out of my fucking YouTube feed.
