That's fair, I'm pretty new to this space so it's a bit baffling to witness.

keep in mind some of them are streaming several hours multiple days per week, for years. unless they're thespian gifts of god no method actor is that good (even the baubau twins have enough real personality bleed into their performance, they just speak in a funny voice).

of course there's also the effect that streaming itself will have, some hikki with self-esteem issues suddenly having people enjoying their personality inevitably changes them over time (see everyone's favorite pink rabbit).
a para-social relationship works both ways.

While it would definitely be sad to see her go, I wouldn't be surprised or speculate on what's going on behind the scenes. She's been there for nearly half a decade and barely streams anymore. But no matter what, Gura's graduation is going to lead to a bunch of rrats

Nobody should be surprised if it happens. Including members' streams, she has streamed 79 times over the last two years. That's why I don't think she graduates unless she just doesn't want the pressure of being one of the faces of the company. At this point, she can stream for a week every few months and then come back a week before her birthday and sell out her merch instantly.

People also often underestimate the way Twitter will curate a chuuba's "for you" page feeding them random shit you tweet if you regularly interact with them.
