So the war thunder forums just need to register themselves as a journalist and it solves all their problems. Also would this apply to detailed plans for construction of a suitcase nuke?

Could NYT hold onto the plans for said nuke threatening to publish them if their demands are not met adding a new meta layer to MAD?
1st, if the poster is/was a government employee, they're probably fucked. If you were expected to keep something confidential, then you keep it confidential, full stop.

2nd, the physics of making a nuke are well known, it's the investment cost that kills, so I'll change the question a bit. Lets say, somehow, NYT gets ahold of and publishes the makeup of the specific anti-radar paint used on stealth fighters, something that is very clearly a massive operational issue if it's specifically found out since now countermeasures can be tailored made. Can NYT be sued?

No. They have 0%, nada, none, no obligation to the government, secrecy, or anything else. You can publish how the CIA specifically makes gas bombs for insurgents. You can publish submarine patrol routes. You can publish everything ever done, is being done, or will ever be done, good or bad, with 0 legal repercussions. (Not to say the government won't try, but the legality of it would be fucked, as seen in the Pentagon Papers).

Welcome to the world of American liberties. Where we enshrine Natural Rights above the authority and security of the government, the 1st Amendment being the most litigated and, thus, the most secure.

I can only imagine the TDS a decade after he finishes his term. Or a switch up when the next republican president come idk. BTW, what's the current view on watergate?
I have no idea what type of candidate the republican party can run now. Not to get political or anything but I don't think they'll win the next election.

Agreed. As an ex lolbertarian I learned that the principles of it will only take you to a degenerate end at worst and chronic inaction at best "I can't use the goverment to regulate the goverment!".

I have gone from "small goverment" to "goverment that supports my ideas" and I have stopped giving a shit about attempting to be neutral and above it. My moral opposites certainly don't care and I'm only weakening my position.
The chronic inaction is why I can't stand lolbergs. They're generally spergs who only act as friction against getting anything useful done, because their only consistent position is "don't do anything that involves the government" while everyone else including government and corporations walk all over them. Their desire to be left alone usually means that contract law replaces their sense of morality, so they're okay with things that are obviously bad for everyone like chronic drug use as long as it's done consensually.

Because white Americans are the majority of SNAP recipients at 62%
37%, not 62%. Did you just make up a number?

It's actually kind of sad. Poor white southerners and midwesterners help get Trump elected and three months in his administration is like "okay, how can we make these people's lives a little bit worse for no reason?"
Not being allowed to buy soda with foodstamps isn't making anyone's life worse. Fearmongering about welfare is typical democrat distortion of reality to stop voters going red.

I honestly hate American commercials. For one thing, the fucking fine print lying and the speed talking bullshit. Then the ads are always the most basic bitch shit ever.
Mate, here in Canada, they run adverts for mobile gaming apps. Not gacha games. Actual slot machines in the palm of your hand.

Maybe it's just a LiveTV thing, but every single one of them is constantly running adverts for straight up casino gambling apps.

A lot of sodas contain caffeine, especially coke. That makes sense.
It's the phosphoric or citric acid acting as a buffer, increasing your stomach's hydrochloric acid output. Same as the acetic acid of vinegar you might have on a salad before a meal. Most cuisine provides some sort of weak acid to get your stomach all activated. For American cuisine, including Mexican, that's typically from soda.

and looking for ways to make the party seem less “uncool” to young voters.
Have you tried condemning the pedophile rapists (redundant, I know) that your party spent the last decade and a half installing in schools? Maybe you could start by calling out the men in skirts for what they are.

Oh, sorry, young voters. Impressionable voters who can still give the benefit of the doubt and maybe don't know what somebody older knows about trannies. The Democrat party doesn't deserve the mere consideration of a vote until they cut trannies out. And that's only the first of a mountain of issues.

Trannies are noticeably less of the public conversation in 2025 because Dems are on a losing footing. A lot of people who made permanent life-altering decisions are going to find out that they're the only ones who have to live with the consequences, and most people just think they're fucking retarded for having to do so. The crazy thing though is how few people will actually come to the conscious realization that they were lied to and manipulated. Many will cling to the ideology even after the political vessel sinks.

speaking of which people act like drinking water is an obvious solution and not prone to getting fucked with, especially in the areas the poor live. i could taste the metal in the water fountains at school. And it will only get worse as years go by.

You know how when you go to the store to buy your cavity-creating fat guy drink, there are these bottles of clear liquid in the very same aisle? Those are actually for drinking, too.

4L water: $1.43
4L Coca-Cola: 2 x $2.74 = $5.58

Next time you are waddling through the junk food section, check it out.

You can also spend a little more initially and get a water filter for your home if you want whether it be a seperate system or something on your fridge, and bring your own water bottle places. Don't drink out of public fountains.
(Home water not included for residents of Flint Michigan or victims of the Norfolk southern rail incident)

Bringing my cutie Owala bottle around is the cheapest form of hydration and it's cuter than 4$ cokes

It's not good enough for the Dems to simply shut up about trannies. Not after all of the laws they've installed to protect them. No, they need to right the ship and actively work to walk that shit out of the books. Not having the conversation doesn't move things in that direction, and in fact we've been seeing a handful of libshit holdouts making a big scene out of trying to litigate for them.

If it's going to move anywhere and be legitimized, some Dem old guards are going to need to give detransers a platform to bring to light how they were groomed by men in skirts, then mutilated by back alley surgeons, all for the sexual gratification and monetary gain of the parties involved.

this is just what happened to the boomers with the hippies, and we had to spend our entire lives nodding our heads to their kumbuya bullshit in kindergarden which basically fully indoctrinated every subsequent generation against them. imagine how fucking bad it's going to be for trannies

I agree with the sentiment but I don't believe that will happen. Libs generally don't admit being wrong about things because they are the side of moral goodness as opposed to moral practicality. Progress is an arrow, it can't turn around. I don't believe they're constitutionally capable of realizing that their impulse to help the weak can be parasitized to enable the sick and violent. Has a progressive ever said "we were wrong on that one?"

Well they're asking the question "how do we reach these voters". They either need to accept the answers plainly in front of them, or get what they deserve and go the way of the political dodo.

According to Scott Jennings, Signal was being used for communication prior to the Trump admin being sworn in. Pretty much proves that the only thing that's been keeping government secrets from getting out for the past two decades is pinky-promising you won't forward the Invite link to Jewish journos.

To follow up on this, Elon pretty much confirmed the chat was business as usual, and there is unlikely to be any reprisal from the executive branch outside of maybe canning Waltz for being a retard.

Britain was not the largest superpower in the world at the time. France and Spain were each stronger than Britain back in the 1700s, and BOTH OF THEM helped the USA.

In 1776, the Spanish Empire was officially in the "Shit My Pants And Die" phase.

A backwater country like Russia could give the British enough resistance that the Brits would need the French to help them keep Moscow away from gobbling up the Ottomans.

Aside from your history of the Crimean War being wrong, the world of 1845 has much in common politically and militarily with the world of 1776 as the world of 1985 does to the world of 1914.
