he had obvious mental competency issues for at least half his presidency. we watched him go behind the podium and struggle to coherently speak / form sentences while his administration lied and said there was nothing wrong. it was clear as day that he wasnt able to be president but he was kept there for a reason. people, institutions, whatever, used his autopen signature to do whatever they wanted because he was too far gone. he wasnt our president and thats why we felt such a disconnect as a country because he was literally a wet mop.
