I’m placing my bet now, this is actually about the Assassin’s Creed bullshit. Which had gotten a lot of backlash in Japan iirc. If it isn’t, they ALWAYS whine “but I did what you wantedddd! Raycist!” No bitch, your character and/or story just sucks. I’m just saying, every time I see this genre of comic it’s just “Wow, look! My own progressive thing! Please clap!”

I’m already not looking forward to it because I’ve been sick of ironic magical girl shows (and irony poisoned media in general) ever since I saw Magical Girl Friendship Squad pop up all over YouTube like two or three years ago.
