She can't help her stress tic.Lily's rant, jokes aside, feels disgustingly alarmist. She can't afford to sue, this much is true. This month. for those who don't know, has seen Lily handle Mikay's rent. You can hear her in previous streams sigh and proclaim that's the best she can offer her. Lily is handling her responsibilities well enough, nothing wrong with that. But still something sounds off.
Especially the part where she says she can't sue because that would require her to be in the States and she fears her passport being seized.
Like the USA has become some sort of Neo-Uzbekistan under Trump.
Can any American explain? I understand Lily is sensationalizing her fear to her dumb audience so they keep being scared. But is anything she saying here based in any sort of reality?

With her being on Bluesky and ban happy, you really have to be quick lest you lose any and all context of what she's going on about. She was starting shit about Avatar and genocide.
Thankfully Confused Rat saved the back and forth.

She has no case but she can't admit it, but luckily her fans are so dumb that they honestly believe a trans person would be executed and left in an open grave if they tried to enter the US.
And for clarity, a foreign citizen or an immigrant can sue someone in the US. Court hearings are done over fucking zoom nowadays. And if not that they'd have someone representing them. Basically Lily's full of shit and all her talk of suing people is just dick waving.
Wouldn't it be great if we had a lolsuit arc tho?

The only disadvantage is the hiding of posts, but other than that. Yeah, you can tell by the way Peet was responding on the spot that they are DESPERATE for anything to attack, or have a box to speak on. The fact the asshole is not popular, and has been blocked by many is very much getting to them.

God no. Not unless Lily commits a crime on this side of the border.
For libel, all the things that Ant, Sai, and any other human in America said about her must be proven false. That is the bar for a private citizen. It could be false due to negligence in reporting since she is not a public figure, but she must prove it is false. Then she would have to prove it had done damage to her, providing youtube and patreon charts, psychologists notes for mental breakdowns, and so on for all the damage Lily feels she would be entitled to. And again, this would be trying to prove that what any of them said was wrong or was not an argument over an opinion, or was not a transformative work.
I'd like to see people provide archives for Stockholm as evidence in court. I'd also like to see if the judge looks at the pathetic Canadian in front of the bench and just decides Lily is "Libel-proof", as in, her reputation is so god awful that adding fake things to it means nothing and Lily is unable to sue.

Also why would the American government seize and destroy a Canadian passport? The purpose of destroying an ID like that in the states is to wreck their chances of leaving the country, the US gov isn't exactly trying to keep Canadian's out, no matter how much Trump may say he wants to go to war with them.
Knock on wood but the odds of America and Canada actually ever going to war are also incredibly slim to none. The Canadian's aren't happy with the tariffs being placed on them and Trump keeps poking at them and Greenland which is putting Canadian's on edge. I can't imagine any non-politician American in their right mind actually wanting to go to war with Canada though. They are our neighbors, it's where we love to go on vacation, we share Niagara falls, they're our polite (only slightly) less racist brothers.
The ID destroying idea definitely stems from a tiktok video of a trans-man saying his passport was confiscated and destroyed by the government (I cannot currently find the video source but I will edit and link it here if i do) and while it's titillating to believe that the government is attempting to stop you from leaving the country to throw you into a concentration camp, passports are actually destroyed in the mail all the time. It's just a thing that happens. Also, about being murdered, she could possibly be referring to the recent case of a trans-man in NY who was just found dead in a field by passer's by. According to the evidence and autopsy the man was tortured and defiled over the course of a month by 5 individuals. This unfortunate story has been pretty prevalent in online lgbt spaces and has definitely caused a commotion.
Over all though the odds of anything bad happening to Lily if she were to enter into the states would probably be very low. Unless someone really had it out for her and actually did target and attack her, I don't think she'd be the target of a random hate crime. She doesn't go out often enough for that. I especially think she's not at risk if Mik is able to travel freely in her day to day life. She's more in danger of the plane flying her to the states crashing than someone committing an act of violence against her.

I wish I'd clipped it, back on December 29th they were playing Dragon Age when Lily said she worries for Mikaila's safety sometimes.
But of course she immediately undercut this by saying it must be way worse for Mikaila, because Lily is in constant danger from the stalkers.
Even when she's being sympathetic towards her wife, and abandoning her to live in a syringe cave, she needs to remind Mikaila that she's the one who has it harder.
