LMAO. Delayed her getting on Medicaid. She could not have 90% of her fun hospital stays if she had shitty Medicaid. The first thing outreach workers do with half-naked, methed out schizos on the streets that can barely remember their names is get them on Medicaid. It’s not that difficult, her excuse that her evil parents are keeping her on their good private insurance is hilarious. It’s not that hard for an adult to get their own vital documents to apply.
 
My only criticism of Luigi is that he spawned a whole wave of these fucking munchies acting like he represents them. Not like he has any control over that, but still

I’m guessing because insurance problems is such a real and common issue the everyday person has to deal with, it makes it really funny watching these out of touch rich girls try to sound like they too were fucked and are totally just as enraged and hurt by the system as the person who’s mom died of cancer because UHC decided giving her chemo was a waste.

She absolutely could and her claims make no sense because didn’t she claim she “emancipated” from her parents? lmao. She could managed legal emancipation but can’t get a copy of her birth certificate?

All she needs is her birth certificate (which she could easily request from the vital statistics office wherever she was born), ss#, proof of residency (mail) in NY and claim she has no income and no assets. Social workers manage to do this with homeless people that have zero ID every single day. (Can’t get services paid for if they don’t get them enrolled. Outreach workers are looking for billable bodies on the streets.)

She can’t get on Medicaid because her parents claim her as a dependent on their taxes because they spend ridiculous amounts supporting her. Her roadblock is the govt can easily check and find she’s not poor and doesn’t qualify. (She might get a few months of Medicaid before the BS catches up with her, then they will make her payback any costs.)

It is incredibly nonsensical. Why is she justifying her existence (to 32 reactors, lmao) in terms of "[her] own impact," like she's spent decades as a humanitarian? This bitch wants accolades and more money for yapping on Twitter.

100% agree. If it were anyone else, I'd assume those posts were a suicide note or a farewell to their internet friends. But Vicky? She failed at something and now needs to justify it—proving she’s not a total failure because, hey, at least she made people on twitter laugh!

Yes - like she got kicked out, and she's looking at her life and contemplating the vast, yawning gulf between what she wants to do (educating, helping, and inspiring people) and what she's actually done (nothing.)
 
Vicky has wasted tens of thousands of dollars in money on tests, hospital stays and equipment she doesn't need She's wasted the precious time of medical specialists who could have been treating people with actual illnesses. She's taken up hospital beds for nonsense like bowel prep for a colonoscopy which meant someone else was denied a hospital stay.

As shitty as the insurance companies are, they absolutely have to have measures in place to combat the likes of Victoria, who doctor shopped until she got a 60k power chair that neither her parents nor her original medical specialists felt she needed.

The world of disability advocacy and healthcare would be orders of magnitude better if instead of all of this she just married some rich nerd and got blasted on xanax all day while he went to work. If Victoria has succeeded at anything it's at wasting every opportunity life handed to her. She ruined her looks, ruined her opportunity to study at NYU-- TWICE-- and she alienated her parents who probably still would have lovingly supported her if she'd simply chosen a munchie grift that didn't require them to watch her mutilate her body in front of them.

It's actually quite an achievement to be this big of a failure, and she did it all so she could wallow in filth and ebeg on twitter.

Honestly, though, this just proves it to me that the attention Vicky got for being an anxious and depressed teenager (like being asked to do a fucking Ted X talk about it) is what ultimately sparked her descent into munchiedom. Her innate narcissism latched on to this idea that her personal problems gave her some sort of unique insight, and that by yapping about those problems, she was doing some sort of worldly good.

It's interesting to think of where she'd be if she'd gotten that attention for something else. If it was something creative, would she have been our next Gloria Tesch instead of a munchie? If it was her looks, would she have just ended up in Beauty Parlor general rather than Stinkditch? The mind boggles.

Such self-importance; as if mooing online about your bed sores and your despicable parents keeps the bellies of babes full while their single mothers struggle to eke out a meaningful existence! As if empty words on a dying website keep old men left alone in the winter warm for just another night! Eyeroll.

Despite it being a trite and over-used term, Vicky's narcissism is boundless, and when she makes posts like these I find it very telling: she doesn't speak about how hard she has worked to care for a community that she loves, nor does she thank anyone meaningfully and admit that she fights every day to live so she can show up for others - because she doesn't! Her reflection is the only acknowledgment worth giving credit to in the novel of her life, and even when she's trying to sound wet-eyed and appreciative her selfishness shows.

Could you imagine having to see her at a family reunion on a regular basis? Her family must breathe a sigh of relief knowing that her Scooty Puff Jr. won't roll on any toes as she recounts tales of how beloved she is on campus as one of the most outspoken and empathetic students her professors have ever had. Even the most patient of grandmothers would probably encourage Vicky to shut up and let someone else have a turn talking for once, and grandma patience tends to go deeper than the Mariana Trench.
