Like Luna in the Empathetic Mamahood thread, I don’t think there is any brain in there to function or feel pain. Luna is only 5 but is heading down Graziela’s path, with a delusional mother thinking there is a magical human in there.

Kiwi brain experts in Luna’s thread all seem to believe there is no real thinking brain left, just cysts and water; only the brain stem left to continue the breathing and heartbeat. So I doubt this thing is any more aware than Luna. Interesting how the twisted hands and feet are like Luna too.

We’ve been hoping Luna would die so her little brothers don’t have to be restricted by this monstrosity but seeing Graziela does not give me hope.
 
Bella's mother is stating her facebook got hacked and someone is stealing the monetization of her content. Great way to admit you only post about your kid for the money. She wants people to report her account as impersonating her account.

Earlier in this thread, I mentioned a Netflix short doco called "Rooting For Roona." The filmmaker started out making a doco about a brick factory in a mostly Muslim area of India, and everyone was saying, "You've got to see Abdul's daughter." She also had untreated hydrocephalus, and the filmmakers got in touch with a doctor who could treat her. She was about 2 years old and completely helpless at the time. A shunt did cause her head to slowly "deflate", and by the time she died, aged 3 1/2, she wasn't speaking, but she could sit up with support and scoot around on her rear end, and feed herself finger foods.

Ran across this person from Robyn. They had a child with extremely severe cerebral palsy. They went on vacation to Florida with her showed a video of her on a boat with them and next post was that they "entered Florida with two children and left with one." They refuse to state what happened there never was any posts about her being sick there were posts of them taking her into the ocean and stuff. It just all seems a little strange. They are refusing to return a stander rented to them that they have no use of to a foundation that is requesting it back as well since they have no need of it.

I think a lot about the theology of these birth defects, but I don’t actually put this one on God. She presumably would have died long ago without human intervention. I’d put this on her mom, like with Luna.

(I know that still leaves the question of why God allows these things to happen in other cases. That’s quite the thinker.)

I think it's really awesome someone gave this little girl more of a life than she ever would have had. It's sad she died, but at least she got to experience more than what she had, and that's pretty cool. You can't put a price tag on stuff like that.

I just finished reading the thread from the very beginning, first time commenting here.

While I feel terrible for this family, I find it really odd and somewhat cow adjacent that they’d want to keep/are refusing to return an extremely expensive ($3,000+) piece of medical equipment they do not own. That it is something that can help other disabled children just like it helped their child when she was alive, makes it even more egregious. Grief is weird, wanting to make a shrine of or stare at an empty piece of equipment that you have no further use for is weirder. It’s selfish to hoard durable medical supplies and equipment that are scarce and exorbitantly priced when there are way more disabled kids than there are standers to go around. The fact that they’re renting it makes it even more bizarre.

As for the psychic nonsense, they are 100% taking advantage of her in her grief. It’s pretty sick to do that to a recently bereaved mother. All of the things they “see” are things they’ve noticed you saying or doing that they can then build on and if it’s one of those online psychics they found on Facebook or Instagram it’s super easy for them to watch the videos on your socials, read your posts, and take notes then twist those things around and serve them back to you as “visions”. These commercial charlatans will do anything to get your money and thrive on being as vague as necessary to make a buck.

PL: As a teenager I would very reluctantly have to accompany my stepmother to metaphysical conventions and she would make me read tarot cards to make money. I can say with full confidence that this stuff is totally fake and I stopped doing readings because I didn’t like straight up lying to people and taking their money. It’s nothing more than using intuition to read people, then taking the little hints they give you when you’re revealing each card and feeding them back to the person creatively.

For example: I pull an upside down lovers card so I ask them open ended questions such as have there been any recent negative changes in their life, do they feel stifled in their relationships, are there financial difficulties, how do they feel about the trajectory of their career, have they found out something about their health or a close relative’s health? I don’t ask those questions all together, but use them throughout the reading in order to get them to reveal more and more so I can build on what they’re telling me. I could say that I am seeing conflict and imbalance surrounding those areas, but it’s fuzzy to me where the negative energy is coming from. Then begin feeding them certain scenarios…do they feel distance from their partner, a lack of communication in their home or at work, that I can see them fighting some invisible battle or leaving something behind. Those prompts will hopefully lead them to start talking more so I can take their words, body language, and facial expressions to create a narrative of what they want to hear. I’m not saying it’s impossible to have some degree of intuition or the ability to see things others don’t or can’t, but the people who go all in on charging people for this stuff are no better than Robyn and the Healy cult taking from vulnerable gullible people. If you have a “gift” it should be shared with others at no charge, otherwise it’s just a grift.

I am wondering if that's a part of the legal threats from her family. She is gaining income over her daughter's death and supposedly did an hour long podcast explaing the results.
