I've been playing SS14 lately, and it is pretty solid, foundation wise. It still lacks a lot of content that SS13 has, but the performance and the absence of space lag is already a plus over BYOND's engine.

And yes, I've heard, read and seen firsthand how mentally deranged the SS14 devs are. It's oustanding how the curse has been broken by these guys.

Is movement tile based? Do you need to register an account with the troons to use it? Does the game depend on servers that the troons control?

its still surprising to see just how far he went off the deep end.

People focus on the transitioning part but he's only been (maybe?) taking E for like 4 months. The actual timeline of when he goes crazy is just after he graduated uni I think somewhere between 2021 and 2022 and gets an internship at this company.

In my opinion despite the transition not helping it's just another symptom of this guy being totally unprepared for the real world and trying to put it off with fantasy. To be fair to PJB, if I got diddled by neckbeards off discord (IRC 2.0 but worse), I do that too or gun them down. But he lives in noguns europe so he's only got the first option.
