Plea deals aren't going to get any more generous and asking for further continuance at this point smells like he's trying to buy time to do something stupid, likely regarding Aaron, but that's just my retard theory.

My man, the Rekieta KNOWS he's innocent on all charges and there's no way he's bitchmade enough to accept any deal with a corrupt government out to get him. I agree, it's not the public's responsibility to ensure bad actors say bad words on a zoom call. There are tools to easily prevent that sort of disruption. These hearings should be public so that there can be no suspicion of malfeasance from either party.

I can understand the proceedings being conducted behind closed doors, especially if the plea negotiations involves the child endangerment. Things like the CPS reports on the children, names of children, etc would be kept confidential to protect the children.
If Nick is trying to have the neglect dismissed, things like positive reports from CPS investigations and CPS returning custody of the children would certainly be something his atty would use in plea negotiations.

@Useful_Mistake @AnOminous is there any possibility the prosecutor was informing the judge of more charges coming up related to the google stuff and that's why the settlement conference was rebooked?
I don't know anything about law and don't know why they hold things off record. Please don't beat me.
