On the one hand I'm utterly amazed it actually worked; I certainly hoped it did but I was trying to be realistic, though that might've been pessimism. Can't really blame those feelings after everything that's happened the last 4 years.

After that 2020 election crap, I was somewhat pessimistic that the Dems might "never lose" another election. Sorta like I was worried "The New Normal" may never end. Good thing I was wrong with both of those "predictions", and maybe I was a bit too pessimistic there.
