I have a relative in the CCU right now and I've spent a few nights here. They won't be leaving any time soon. There are TVs here on different channels (we can change them but we have to get the hospitality staff to do it). I must get back to vote on Tuesday though.

The TV in our section has been on ABC for the longest time. It's nothing but TRUMP BAD TRUMP BAD TRUMP BAD and that his speeches are "all over the place." I don't watch the MSM news on TV ever. It's amazing and scary to witness this bullshit in real time.

I'm older, wiser and saw the madness for myself but I have to remind myself a lot of people are fools and I'm only ever so slightly smarter than the average fool.

There's some kind of saying about how if you're in you're 20s and not liberal, you're heartless, but if you're in you're 50s and not conservative, you're brainless.

I still think the support they have now is nowhere near what they had in 2020. At best, you'll see their version of J6 which I hope ends up being funny instead of dangerous and/or tragic. To me, if the lefties do anything, it's going to be like watching a kid throwing a tantrum and flailing around and all you can do as a parent is wait until he gets tired before sending him off to sleep.

When Trump wins that 3 month window is going to be pretty intense before he is sworn in. I pray that they don't just jump into more foreign conflicts and that we don't get a summer of love type event around the country again.

We're discussing someone whose entire career is owed to trading sexual favors, who never did a single thing she said she did (even one would imply she is competent somehow), whose core identity is a rootless brown indian woman pretending to be a new ethnicity every few days because of the tacit understanding her origin race is extremely unlikable, that views Chicago and Detroit as great places to live, chasing after her own campaign (that she played no part in creating or upkeeping) because she was hastily installed by her own political party (who hates her) after the man she's serving under was finally determined to have severe cognitive issues, and your concern is she didn't win a primary?

I frequently share this link to David Hines' excellent review and deep dive on it. It was written early in the first Trump admin and he vastly underestimated how badly Clown World would be, but he has some prescient observations.

The one at the end is fun and haunting. "You do NOT want white people to riot." There's a reason the powers that be have been culturally engineering white people into compliance while they work as fast as humanly possible to do a great replacement of them. If trump “loses” there will never be someone like him allowed in office again. In that scenario, it really wouldn’t surprise me if people decide to just burn it all down. Fuck it, why not? Your life could only go downhill with Kamala. Might as well take your chances at that point.

Oh yeah, definitely. I took out a part of my post mentioning how my stomach will unknot after election day after I remembered that long stretch until inauguration and how crazy it can get. It aint over til its over!
