I seriously doubt it's anything that would require interaction with customers or something where he's providing some kind of service to people. Most likely, he's doing something like sorting donations at a Goodwill or food bank, since those places will take literally anyone.

"Job" is a very flexible term.
They could just have him licking envelopes or cutting out cards... AKA: the kinds of stuff that parents might let a 5-year old do so they can claim they're "helping."

He's also so personally repulsive in his personal practices and downright unhygienic that he'd make any place he spent time a very unpleasant place to be. Nobody would put up with him for any length of time without kicking his ass.

I'm also sure whoever else is there is thrilled at a new "co-worker" who is obviously a psychotic tard of some sort with guns all over his clothes.

Zooming in all I can make out on the logo is that its black with what looks like white lettering. Not helpful, I know, but it doesnt look like any of the cascadia logos I saw. Probably not government since those usually have a seal. Hmm...what papers would be put up in an employee/volunteer bathroom? Assuming that is one. The only papers I ever saw in a bathroom were Title IX or domestic abuse numbers at school.

Phil could work for up to 9 months making "unlimited" money before the state will take his SSDI away. This is a trial period they encourage the disabled to do to test out working in the job market without fear of being cut completely.

We never heard anything about his disability review so it's possible one of the conditions was he do something with a work to hire program since they're going to cut him. I think that's unlikely though. There's also literally no way any company would hire a transient with 0 credit, defaulted bills, 6+ years of no work history, and covered in offensive children's scribbles. He couldn't even pass an interview without bouncing and squeaking.

Gretas TAP program is just a money laundering venture without a building, they're just handing out money to people they feel worthy And pocketing the rest. The most likely thing is he either found some place like the commie bookstore in Oakland to "volunteer" at, his apartment complex is making him do his mandatory work, or he's just taking pictures at the skating rink.

You'd need to figure out a way to turn crap quality into HD, and there really isn't a way without the source it was compressed from. This is taken from a podcast where they talked about going from SD to HD, but same logic applies to pictures.

Kind of like X-raying pictures, in a sense. If you can't see a nipple or clothes under what you're removing, you're out of luck altogether.

I can make out what looks like a QR code, or square logo. Beyond that, shit phone made shit image.

Personally I think he's lying, but if he is telling the truth, it's either some peripheral organization like the anarchist bookstore he "volunteered" at or its a work program for speds like his Wawa job. Or maybe he did break down at get a minimum wage job, perhaps at Greta's coaching. I'm not sure who would hire him; while some places are always looking for people to do shit work, Phil wouldn't be very good for that. Hell, he'd probably get his ass kicked by his own coworkers.

I know you are one of the top kiwis when it comes to Philstory, but I have a differrent scenario in mind.

Phil is working for LaborReady or another pay-by-day labor place. Those places would take Phil because he isnt strung out on drugs or so fucking drunk that he cant stand.

Now while I dont have hard evidence, those are the exact glasses that LaborReady and those other places issue all employees for most job sites. Phil might have been issued a hardhat as well but took it off for the selfie as it would break his delusional ramblings.

Also, even if Phil posted this selfie late at night, he could be working on a cleanup crew of some sort.

If there was a way to check the Labor Ready database for past employees I would.

I would be inclined to agree, save that Phil is so lazy and weak, I couldn't see him lasting in that job. They wouldn't give a shit about his tattoos, true, but when he sits on his ass all day whining and playing on his phone, he'd get kicked to the curb. That said, if he could swallow his pride for a few hours and do even a bare minimum of work without ranting about translatinx crap, he'd probably be tolerated or ignored.
