I think its less if there will be violence or not, and more how bad it'll be. I think a clear Trump victory will do a lot to quench any fires before they start. A lot of the people on the left will go "He won, and by a clear majority, I'm not doing another four years of this, get over your self" to the far left when that pack starts screaming. It won't return the country to a reasonable ground, but it won't escalate things. Which at this point is the best America can do for the foreseeable future.

My best case is he wins bigly that the left has seething for the next few years.
