That’s why a dark part of me hopes April is pregnant. Nick might replace Kayla with her for now, but it’s never going to last. Having a kid will turn April into just another single mother in her 30’s when Nick find‘s a new a child-free cum dumpster so the new chick can focus all her attention on him.

Then April will be saddled with her convict ex boyfriend, a divorce under her belt, a kid she never really wanted, and then try to attract her next victim to leech off of, who will be a steep downgrade in lifestyle. A fitting end to her shining star.

I wouldn’t be so quick to judge there. The pervasive pattern of unstable relationships manifests itself most clearly in his friendships. Drex is a good example of someone who Nick lauds as his best friend one day, but completely drops the next. They had a long period of absence from each other’s lives before the current break, too.

As for other friends, look at Nick & anyone else he claims friendship with, whether they are truly friends or not. The way Nick treated Null was textbook borderline, with constant splitting between putting Null on a pedestal & devaluing him. It really has nothing to do with Null, but is very common in BPD’s of both sexes to almost idolize you one moment where you can do no wrong, & then debase you the next moment where you’ve magically become the root of all evil in the world. Nick does this with a number of LawTube colleagues as well, most obviously Legal Mindset & Sean. Nick likely splits on everyone around him. (For anyone interested in more info, look up splitting in relation to Borderline Personality Disorder.)

I’d say the codependency angle in Nicks marriage is spot on. His marriage also fits into unstable relationships as well though, nowadays. Male BPD’s often manifest with major symptoms of rage, too. Nick fits the criteria well. Very well. It’s common for Cluster B/ Axis II’s to have a few different comirbid Dx’s, like BPD & NPD, etc.
