Parent's will act if the story goes mainstream. I don't know why Youtube Kids doesn't have like a block channels feature you think that would be ideal for giving parents a choice on what kinda content their kid should be allowed to see at such an early age .

I feel like employing pedos and troons is a typical move by someone who thinks they know business but really don’t. I imagine pedos and troons are much cheaper to employ since most intelligent employers see clear: everything works great until people start doing background checks on your staff. You’d think someone who spent so long on YouTube would do a better job managing his PR.

Whether or not Delaware is innocent isn't the point. There are two people who have confirmed offenses against minors who work for Jimmy. Both were around since the beginning. Jimmy's nonchalant attitude toward Chris's pedophilia wasn't because Chris was his friend, he genuinely doesn't care whether or not someone's a kid toucher. When you're a brand that markets to kids that's inexcusable.

Even if Delaware is 100% innocent, it still makes Jimmy and his mom a dumbass for hiring him while he is still a registered sex offender. Why take that risk? Why chance the PR nightmare that is currently playing out right now?

Interesting that he mentions Jimmy's mom being involved in the hiring process, more proof that Jimmy is not running the show, at least not alone.

As stupid as it sounds, I've known people who took plea deals that ruined their lives on shit they didn't even do so it tracks. Some 80~ IQ dumbass with a shitty lawyer and a stupid mom will gladly take those papers and fuck themselves up for life if the pressure turns on them and that could be the case here. I've seen it in my personal life. The fact that he didn't try to twist around it or deny the allegations whole hog does give me pause to think it might be legit.

All these video platforms need a huge nuke dropped on them re: child endangerment. In a wide sweeping way, too. Exposure to people like Beast and his crew, comment sections, elsagate style shot, off site discord cults, the lot of it.

You say nigger on YT, you've lost your channel in 12 hours or less. You bother kids or put them in harms way or use dodgy psychological tactics on them to make money, there's a glacially slow years long investigation, if anything.

The nuke needs to hit all the family channels etc too. As someone who grew up on the late 90s/early 00s net, I know it's fruitless to keep children away from these platforms 100%, I know there IS some protection mechsnisms in place... But it's not enough. If it makes your platform unprofitable to be safe, tough shit - and I stopped watching TV basically 10y ago so losing YT would be a big blow to me.

Enough is enough tho, it's willful ignorance from these big platforms at this point.
