I'm pretty sure I've heard some very serious allegations that Aliesha Sweep lied under oath and that the police literally planted fucking evidence in his bedroom. Were there any other acts of malfeasance reported by Nick Rekieta about the conduct of officers that night?

I can testify that I have heard disturbing rumours about the integrity of the Kandyohi County police force or CPS agents' integrity. I, as a concerned member of the public am not sure that if I had to interact with them that all laws would be followed. I have heard multiple reports of misconduct by a lawyer in good standing with the bar that have reinforced these beliefs.

The best thing to dispell these concerns would be a totally transparent disclosure of the interactions of these agents with the esteemed lawyer.

Okay that's interesting. I was only looking at the BWC statute itself which would seem to narrow it to people present (including county employees) but it appears the agency does have the ability to reclassify as public.

The actual statute says "widespread rumor or unrest" but Nick has made arguments in his cases that he is such a famous and prominent guy with hundreds of thousands of subscribers he needs to be treated differently.

Nick is concerned about his image more than anything. He arguably cares about his image more than he cares about getting away completely scot-free on the criminal shit.

What MPR "leaked" about the 9 year old was so damaging to his reputation, that it rattled even many of Nick's most die-hard supporters. More people were furious about that than they were with him simply being arrested for possession in the first place.

There is no way in hell Nick wanted that to get out. His plan was to lie about the conduct of his case with impunity, under the belief that it would be extremely difficult to disprove any of what he was claiming. He almost got away with it too.

Furthermore, MPR was critical of Nick in his commentary accompanying the doc drops in a way Nick could never bring himself to be. It was too on the nose.

It is very possible, just not possible in every case. Nick has the advantage of being somewhat famous. If it wasn’t for this being talked about on public forums such as this one it wouldn’t be possible to pull this off. Nick did make the argument recently that the child’s test results being released was improper and that those results should be stricken from the record because of it. I would very much like to see what the ruling was. Nick getting custody of his kids back could only be the result of winning on a technicality. And if what he told Camelot is true, that he got them back because the State couldn’t prove the drug use, this would make sense.
