I don't think he went cold turkey (because I doubt he's capable of that) and he seems to be of the opinion that going into treatment for it would be like an admission of guilt (because he's really stupid and his legal interpretations are often dumb as fuck), so my guess is that he's still using and drinking. But he seems aware of the fact his streams are being used as evidence of how fucked up he is as they were when they got the warrant. So I imagine he's probably just hiding it by sobering up prior to hitting the record button.

A couple of drinks is easy to hide, especially for a heavy drinker, a trip to the bathroom is more than enough time to down a glass of whisky. Its harder to hide the effect of a narcotic taking hold. I haven't watched him in anything other than clip form in a couple years. Frankly as soon as he stopped doing law stuff I really stopped giving a fuck. While he was piss poor in his predictions of cases (which is understandable, courts don't always go the way they fucking should) he did at least have enough of a legal education to explain wtf was going on in motions to laymen and enough personality to make it interesting.

Sounds more like it won't be available at least until all ongoing criminal investigations are concluded. I can and will say for certain that the Balldo (all 3 colors) may not ever be released as it is evidence in both the drug charges against Nick and the Child Sexual Neglect charges against Kayla.
