I'm not even a fan a kamala but people saying shes "incredibly unpopular" are wrong. dem fundraising via actblue (i,e non-corp donors) is at like 50m. this doesnt mean shes going to beat trump, but acting like dropping dementia biden and replacing him with the VP is a "blunder" is hubris. that being said, voting is gay.

Right now they could run a chunk of pubic hair wearing Groucho glasses and accrue at least as much funds.

Seen all kinds of weird shit from presumably "vote blue no matter who" types.
-Oh all they have is "she laughs funny".
-Bringing up the age gap between them.
-Conservatives are scared of her.
Am I on another wavelength/planet? People like her? She just comes off as particularly greasy and horrible. The cackling shit makes me think of a retard.

that's not gonna last, obviously

Trump: We’re gonna deport the Mexicans
Jeb: But don’t worry, you’ll all get a free sample of my famous guacamole on your way out!
Trump’s gonna deport Jeb’s wife

That's exactly why they've been pushing that 50m number out there - so people like you would be impressed by it. First off ActBlue is as corrupt as fuck. At best that's total donations to ActBlue across all candidates and much of it were the donations that were being withheld until Biden dropped out.

They're all liars. This is theater.

If you think virtue signalling white women aren't an electoral force... You've spend too much time outside of the USA.
... whole big thing about abortion ...

I know Null wants to be the next Mom's Net and get that sweet ad revenue and an anglo lover who isn't Lidle but democracy was broken in the 60's by Hart Cellar and 2nd wave feminism and it goes far beyond abortion.

Single women and minorities and especially single women minorities don't vote on the actual economy and if anything they vote on the gibs economy. Fathers and mothers who form households are concerned about making ends meet, a 27 year old women still living off Dad's income doesn't give a fuck, NYC/LA spinsters driving Audis don't give a fuck, Shaniqua is getting checks from 3 different baby daddies and SNAP and doesn't give a fuck.

Then there is the evolutionary psychology of the whole thing. Women in nature do not have an independent life cycle phase. They go from the protection of Dad the silverback to the arms of whoever usurps him and they have to be capable of making this transition. Men on the other hand must achieve independence before they mate, they have to mass resources and secure territory. They have to be pragmatic, confrontational, successful and their genes live or die on it. This arrangement works fine when the primary voting unit is a family with 2 and a half kids but feminism and birth control annihilated that paradigm. This leaves you with a massive voting block of spinsters and lingering singles voting for the government to be their providers and this is the entire arch of the 20th century, entitlements, debt and declining populations.

Then you have the anecdotal aspect, even in a deep blue state you don't see white men ridin' with Biden (unless they are 20 something simps). You see women, Asians (Confucius wrote a lot of pro-state propaganda) and darkies, my mother in law drinks 3 gallons of CNN spiked coolaid every morning. My sister is an HR lady stereotype. My Aunt fucked up all 3 of her kids and now fucks up other peoples kids professionally for the state as a social worker. Women love a provider and if it's not a man the state will do. Then there is the whole pathological empathy thing, "All budgets and pragmatism be damned (those are man problems) we need to save these poor migrant children!" which again comes from the submissive and communal nature of a pre-civilization female existence focused on child rearing.

... and finally before I shut up and go back to work... Women are so taken in by a smooth talker with a pretty face that it is scary. Boomer women are still wet for JFK 60 years later. How do you all think emperor Trudeu got into office? Why do you think the Don Henley looking mother fucker who drove California into the ground and was almost recalled is the scariest candidate the Dems could possibly field? If men voted this way Pamala Anderson would be Queen of the world (or would have been till about 30). We don't want to fuck our leaders, we want to lead who we fuck.

It's one thing to donate because you love the guy.

It's really another thing to donate because you hate the other guy so much and only way to soothe that fear of the other guy winning is donating your money to someone who is equally, if not more, dislikable because she isn't going to snap and die tomorrow.

From the Trump team's perspective Harris was always a close second in terms of who they'd like to run against, so close in fact it was almost a tie. All they really have at this point is yapping about Trump's criminal cases. Once the full court press on Kamala's past starts any favorability boost she had from not being under the microsope goes away and we're probably back to Biden-level polling numbers or worse. TDLR They've maxed out Trump's unfavorability, but Kamala's still has a long way that it can fall.

What I really want out of a Kamala run is the worst black male voting numbers for a Democrat candidate since the 70's.

There's a lot of "Trump's gonna get more of the black vote because he's a real nigga who's been shot at and arrested and he's technically a felon !" Which is funny don't get me wrong.

But it would be funnier if the blasian woman candidate has like no support from black men. Black men and women shit in each other like 24/7 online. If that happened black women would basically try and change the 13th amendment to be gender specific.

It would just be funny, although if trump seriously thinks he is EVER getting more than 5% of blacks at absolute maximum he's retarded.

Biden is either dead or terminally ill. The drugs they used to prop him up finally took their toll on his sick dirty soul.

Whitmer would've sewn up MI by default, had a huge cultural/regional advantage in WI, and would only have had to truly focus on PA (where she'll also have an advantage, due to being the governor of another rust belt state and knowing how to appeal to and communicate with those sort of voters). 2016 Clinton + MI (her own state) + WI (her neighbor) + PA (another rustbelt state) = 275 EV = President Whitmer and likely the end of Trump's political career (he's already old, and will be Biden-tier ancient in 2028; I don't see him running again if he were to lose this one).

She's younger than Harris, less awkward, a better speaker, more charismatic, less baggage (due to not being a part of Biden's administration) and actually manages to come across as at least somewhat down to earth and relatable rather than a reptilian skinwalker.

She's also a woman (so checks the Dems "diversity box") and has been an extremely aggressive advocate for abortion rights when running on abortion rights has been extremely effective for the Dems in the wake of RvW getting overturned.

Instead they're going back to the Clintonite "it's her turn!" playbook that worked so very well for them in 2016 and are ramming through the failveep from a state they always carry by 20+ points that brings them absolutely no electoral advantage, who will rightfully so carry the inept Biden presidency around her neck like an albatross, is notoriously atrocious at campaigning, absolutely abysmal at fund raising (her 2020 primary campaign ended 4 months before the first primary vote because she ran out of money), and who Biden's own staff called "weird" presumably because -- and ONLY because -- she's a pee oh see.

Whitmer may well have lost still, but Harris will absolutely lose, and probably by an even larger margin than Clinton did in 2016.

The Dems never, ever, EVER learn. Jesus fucking christ lmao

Democrats would need an strong reason to skip over the VP of any Administration, but an extremely strong reason to skip over the "woman of color" pledge winner and heir apparent.

presumably because -- and ONLY because -- she's a pee oh see.

There's no point talking about Democratic strategy without including their obsessive progressive stack HISTORIC FIRST agenda. There is no Current Year Democratic Party without that.

I mean this literally--there is no point talking about jobs, health care, abortion, worker's rights, environment, nothing in relation to the Democratic Party without first contending with radical progressive identity politics. They do not have a policy coalition; if you polled those special interest groups separately, you'll find they all conflict. They are holding their base together through guilt-based and victimhood-based emotional appeals. That's it.

Of course there's an elitist skin of players at the top trying to hang on to any bit of power they can grab. But that's really just a source of internal drama between realists and idealists, same as you get in any organization.

You know I listened to Trumps speech at the RNC. It was refreshing. All patriotism, how America is a great country and how we should strive to reach our potential.
You don't hear that from Democrats, its all how America is racist, how its bad, how White people are bad, all negative. They don't talk about how the country is great, how the people are great, and how we should put our nation first, its how wrong we are, how bad we are, how we're racist.
The democrats seem to hate America. They see the Constitution as an inconvemience.
I don't know how anyone who loves America could vote for the party that spends all its time talking about how bad it is and how its "built on racism" a party that can't even say what women are and wants Troons to be able to brainwash and castrate our kids.

I fucking hate politics, its two sets of assholes competing to see how much they can lie, and the Republican party is full of assholes too, but if picked to choose, I don't see how anyone who love their country could vote for a party that hates it.
I haven't heard a Patriotic democrat since fucking Kennedy, and he was a fucking whoremongering shit bag.
Both sides suck, but they've spent so.much effort trying to silence or kill Trump, I figure if the people I despise the most are so afraid of him they'll try to use the courts and when that fails bullets to stop him thats as good a reason to vote for him as anyone.
As a Canadian in Canada, America has problems. We do too. Health care, gun violence. I think America is a decent country but going around saying 'we're great' seems to just be a way to live in la la land. I don't support the opposite which is that America is horrible and racist. I mean nothing is perfect. I'm a realist. I do support countries putting themselves first and being united but there are difficult truths people need to accept if society is to get better.

I just have to Michigansperg for a moment about how utterly disastrous Bitchmer has been. She got into office purely on the back of running as a Dem immediately after the Flint water crisis was made public, during which time, a Neocon R was in office. Before it was even official on election night, she was already gloating about how much she was gonna raise taxes. Her platform was basically "Republicans didn't do anything to fix Flint's water, which is just as bad as causing it!", yet in 6 years, the only thing that has changed is that the media stopped talking about it. Our gas prices are higher than the already absurd national average, despite Michigan not being some big out of state travel destination, and the roads, which those gas taxes were supposed to fix, are worse than ever. Don't even get me started on how much of her popularity stems from people believing the retarded lie that "CONSERVATIVES WERE TRYNA KIDNAP HER!!!" when it was literally 100% glowies.
