You know, I just realized I could understand every word trump said in his hour-and-a-half long speech, in terms of both diction and coherence. I could never say that about Biden in the past 2-3, maybe even 4 years. Low bar, I know, but still...

Ok. I saw this black guy from when the moon launch in 69 happened. He was a real hard socialist type and say 'I care about all the welfare the things, but for just a few minutes that all went away'. Great speech. Most important, he managed to lay out a platform that could actually pull in centrists and maybe even the center-left. You'd have to listen to the whole thing to get the effect though, the people who get news in 5 second sound bites tomorrow are going to hear a completely different, warped version.
