Austin is out on bond/bail for a felony schedule 1 or 2 drug possession charge. When on bond conditions will bar you from use of all drugs, legal or not, unless prescribed.
Austin is out on deferred prosecution of domestic violence, essentially probation, and if he follows conditions they wont prosecute him for that crime. The conditions include no alchohol, and no drugs. They confirm this via drug testing. They do not care why you tested positive unless you prior disclosed a prescription drug. A fail is a fail, regardless of any reason. This includes "decriminalized" weed, or any designer drug that shows up as weed even if they are legal. Those things are legal for regular, responsible citizens. Austin has traded this in for his staying out of jail (for now).
Adding to the weight of this, Austin is still on probation for his 2015 felony. A conviction for either the domestic violence, or the still pending drug possession charge, could violate that probation.
