Ok so as I understand it, the level of cocaine found in your hair is based off of A LOT of factors. (Someone may have already addressed this)

Before testing the hair sample, it is washed to remove any contamination. This would rule out the possibility of the kid just having a shitload in her hair. Also one doctor answered a post question from several years ago about “will 2 lines of coke make me pop” basically. The doctor said it would be at the cutoff level…. Maybe. But it could register lower depending on the hair sample.

The test essentially averages out all of the samples and gives you a number. That way they don’t get one piece reading really high/low and it throw off the test. Makes sense.

But with this being said, to get the levels that were shown in his kids test. They would have either had to have ingested a shitload of cocaine once within the past 90 days or had smaller amounts over the past however long. But when I say smaller amounts, we’re still talking about quite a bit of yayo.

Either way you look at it, this is fucked.

In one of the final messages from Kayla to Aaron (possibly written by Nick) he is specifically told not to make contact with her family or to have no further contact with it. The team up or (as likely) information exchange probably happened. From what I remember, the message was phrased in a way that suggested to me "do no continue contact".

Maybe one day, but the legal and technological framework is not there for the government to convert Rackets into a 40k style servitor and force him to have a real job that benefits society at large. The control system implanted in his brain would give him dopamine for tasks completed but if he tried to act up it would play the memory of his transformer toy getting taken away over and over again until he is back in compliance. The techs in charge of maintaining his improved form will wonder how it is possible for a servitor to sassily ingest nutrient paste, though.

Different community, though. Nick’s parents are both heavily Catholic. Nick left his previous community to join Kayla’s.

Nick’s dad moved them to Minnesota for work when Nick was fairly young (it says in the OP). Most of Nick’s family on both sides are Texan Catholics. His Minnesota community was a gated community a few throws away from his current community, iirc.
