I hate Rekeita so much its unreal.

His "career" is most definitely over. There's no comeback to be had, since his success was largely lightning in a bottle anyway. Lawtube has always been gay. And now its completely saturated with other people doing it just as well as he ever did. I recall watching a few episodes where he had Null on, and thought his squeaky voiced quips were kind of funny. But thats about it. He never had any great insight on the shows with Null and correct me if I'm wrong, but theres no "great moments of Rekeita law" compilations where people care to go back and watch his best clips, right? It was timing and collaborating with other egrifters whose audiences had decent overlap that built the whole house of cards. So, regardless of his redemption arc I don't see how he will ever be worth watching for non-trainwreck purposes.

That being said, I dont think he will ever face any jail time. I think that with the amount of money available to him from his trust and from his family in general, it just isnt plausible. I would love to be wrong. Nothing would please me more than to be wrong. If anyone is stupid and arrogant enough to fuck this up so bad that he goes to jail, its Rekeita. I just dont think its gonna happen because he can pay any fines levied against him and the courts would rather send broke violent offenders to prison than spend state money jailing someone who can pay his way out and then continue to pay to stay out when he gets caught fucking up again. People born into wealth who have trust funds never really figure out how actions and consequences work in life. Most can understand intellectually how doing x can result in y, but they never really get tested, because when they do x, they have money to avoid the resulting y that normal people have to experience first hand.

The bright side is that Rekeita's loss of e-fame and his general public disgrace is much more painful to him that if he were to have simply lost his license to practice law, or when he will probably have to settle with monty out of court and pay him a bunch of money. He loved the attention so much that the deafening silence in response to his attempts to re-boot his career (other than jeering on kiwi farms, kino casino, etc) will be pretty darn unpleasant for him while he figures out how to cope.
