I don't think even the most cynical Nick aylog doesn't have sympathy and concern for his family - that's universally the only people in this situation people from all sides care about. People are pissed at *you* Nick for fucking up your family - a true fake friend ignores these things in order to keep your friendship alive for the grift. Real friends will come down on you while still showing care for your family, it's not rocket science.

i've seen enough evidence at this point to think that he has been sober since getting out. he's realized the gravity of the situation regarding the drugs and booze and potential CPS issues, and he really is trying to revamp his show to not be centered around booze in hopes of returning to being a regular-old lawtuber and getting his streaming life in order---if for no other reason than to spite all the haters. and even if talking shit on twitter isn't the best thing to do from a legal perspective, it's far more important that he's sober on stream and behaves becomingly over the next 2-3 months before the hearing.

it makes for much better TV that he's still a drunk and drugged out retard, but i don't see anything in his behavior since getting out that needs to be explained by him currently being drunk and on drugs.
