A good parent would turn that into an opportunity "Hey son I can't taste anymore. Lets cook together and you can taste for me" you get enjoyment from sharing something with your kid, teach them a life skill and spend time with them. Not crackets though.

I don't think you can get Lead filament, there's copper though.
The MarkForged is expensive to use though, I guess I could use the end of a roll of filament, but yeah, just milling it from a leftover would be better.

Plastic filament print then lost material casting. Could do lead that way... if you've got a setup to safely cast lead.
