In real life, people aren't that complicated. Most likely, he was a casual drinker and very occasional user of recreational drugs for most of his adult life, but alcohol and cocaine cost money, so he had a natural limiting factor. When he became successful and had much more expendable income, his bad habits spiraled out of control because he couldn't limit himself.

I personally believe this tailspin all started with Super chats to do shots, during the trials. The shots threw him into fullblown alcoholic. Nick couldn't keep up streaming as much due to alcohol. That is where the coke came in.

But interestingly, also in the document, one of the anonymous reporters believed that two of the daughters were not enrolled in the homeschool program. Whereas it is stated the two older boys are, and the youngest is in preschool.

The issue that makes it clear it is not bs is the cops watched a bunch of streams and outright stated ‘there is a clear difference between now and 6 months ago’ and even then it was only the stream where it was actively clear he was on coke that they pulled the trigger.
