I'm betting it will be dirty but not on the level of crack den squalor. If the cops understated it, it's because they are used to legitimately 10x worse shit, while Aaron is used to a regular suburban household. A relative of mine used to work as a social worker, and dirty clothes, dishes, and carpets were just the norm.

Edit: Like his big story was cleaning up a messy dining room table. A bunch of clutter on a table and clean laundry on the couch looks bad if you have guests over, but it isn't a safety risk.
