I'm not a lawyer, not even familiar with the court system, and before I say this next part, I am aware that each state is different and each judge is different, so mileage may vary.

But I remember watching the Chile de Castro hearing in Las Vegas; and the short of this story is the judge pretty much did a "I know who you are, I know you're a massive fucking trouble maker, I'm giving you a longer than normal sentence." Again, there's probably a lot of differences between a Clark County judge and the judges in Nick's area; but with how much of an ass he's made himself out to be to include the massive amount of shit he's talked on the judge he's going to go in front of; if given the possibility, I wouldn't be surprised if Fischer makes an example out of Nick.
