I think you are talking about two different things here. I don't think "shunning" and "full detractor" are the same thing.

From my POV, it certainly feels like Sean and Andrew have distanced themselves from Rekieta. At least in the sense they haven't seemed to occupy the same space as him in quite a while.

I can't speak for everybody here, but I never expected any of his peers to go full on detractor. A lot of his peers are trying to have streaming careers of their own, and that would just get in the way. Especially if they want to emphasize legal content on their respective shows. Full detractor, to me, is more along the lines of the Kino Casino. Shows that specialize in Internet drama.

Along the same lines, I didn't expect Gosney to rain down fire and brimstone, but I expected him to be better than coddling Rekieta and finger waging at Nick's critics. Even if that meant pulling Nick aside privately. I watched the last 10 minutes of his stream, and it was ridiculous.

Because that was, indeed, a really dumb fucking idea. From what I understand, one of the major problems what that is they didn't have treatment services in place before decriminalization. They made a similar mistake with the mental health system many decades ago that they still haven't fixed. Cart before horse. This failure was predictable.
