Sweet Baby Inc. and the Steam Curator Group Conspiracy - The company that is responsible for the diarrheic video game writing.

I want to play a video-game where I collect melanin as a resource and the more I get, NPCs just start giving me loot and experience for free. However, all the loot and experience you obtain through melanin and not merit is tainted and makes youe character lazier, power-hungry and maniacal at the cost of natural skill reduction.

Good ending is you resist all the melanin and achieve greatness through hard work and determination.

Bad ending, your character reaches a point where it's not enough and so they become a troon'd out sexpest.
Sounds bit like Geneforge-series.
No melanin is actually collected in those games.

Hello Games (No man's sky) Is in Edinburgh IIRC.
Rockstar has a few big development houses in and around the UK.
So does Square technically, and I believe the "Games Workshop" games like 40k are developed in the UK?

Though I think the Warhammer 40k lisence is spread out fairly liberally, on the hopes that the gems that come out overshadow the turds.

Pretty much. The game industry has a ton of normie rubes in it that just consome and this will probably go on for another few years, but they're starting to wake up. Starfield was just the tip of the iceberg.
The end of 2022 and 2023 being a bad year for video games woke people up. Despite success, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are considered some of the worst iterations of Pokemon, and price increases from inflation are making some consumers think twice about buying $70 games (Most Switch games out of Zelda aren't as pricey as PS or Xbox games from what I'm seeing). Starfield tried to bank on shills and fanboys supporting the game, but not even those guys could save a woke, boring turd with an outdated engine. Even with how woke it was, Spider Cuck 2 made money, and until the reward shows happened you were attacked for criticizing Spider Cuck 2 (fuck Geeks and Gamers for defending it). Suicide Squad really woke people up.

What's funny about Starfield is the leftists who are "Bethesda fans" and guys like Act Man ironically killed the modding scene after attacking Az and modders who wanted to fix it. Starfield was so bad and boring nobody wanted to make mods approved by leftists and Act Man.

This is the Haroona you play as not the woman on the cover. Was the white woman Haroona before being race swapped? Either way it looks like they're not very proud of the indian protagonist.
It's the same character, not a race-swap. It's just a difference in lighting with the title art having a big glare.

This attention seeking goblin wishes he was the leader of Gamergate. Nobody cares about him anymore, not even his usual /cow/ and /tv/ ball lickers, he's even less relevant than Mark Mann(who would be closer to the actual monicker of "Leader of Gamergate")

@Level99Manchild
It's actually even more pathetic: Starfield modding is already dead in the crib because Bethesda changed how mods work on a fundamental level. Modding in Bethesda games up to this point has been famously really simple, hence why Skyrim and Fallout games still get mods to this day. Well, compatibility for mods in Starfield is shot to shit, meaning that it will be a pain in the ass to create these 600 mod playlists when you will need to create additional mods yourself just to create compatibility with the existing ones, the more changes a mod makes to the world the more patches will be needed for other mods to work alongside it. Older Bethesda titles didn't have this problem and if there were conflicts you would generally be warned about it on the mod's page, now it will be a much bigger pain in the ass for most modders to make sure their mod works for everyone than it's worth. You're not going to see dozens of big, game changing mods running at the same time, you will only be allowed a few and whatever clothing/weapon mods you want, the way I understand it. Starfield needs way more fixes than "a couple of big mods and some cool guns" and it's not TES/Fallout, so most people will move on months after Creation Engine drops.
The culture surrounding the modding sites is going to deter people from modding, of course, but dedicated ones will simply upload their mods elsewhere, like on based mods or modding heaven. Nexus or ModDB doesn't have a monopoly here. Problem lies with Bethesda fucking something up on a fundamental level, or intentionally ruining their modding scene to herd more niggercattle into their upcoming paid mods store. I doubt Scam Man has any sort of power, he's just a grifter and he's more comparable to G-Man, another shill who sold out. They don't influence anything, let alone entire communities.

I believe Andy Wong is who was responsible for the recent drag and trans events for Capcom USA
He's giving people the Wong message.

The ESG money is drying up, and due to DEI itself being toxic to profit, a lot of companies have begun firing their protection racketeers (oops, I mean "consultants") and some even begun outright denouncing it due to how toxic the people running it are. Seems no one can get any actual REAL work done with these people around. This is one of the main reasons why you see so many of the Alphabet Mafia freaking out on Twitter and TikTok because their gravy train has finally pulled into the station and now it's time to get off and join the real world.
The Western companies are just going to double down

As for this guy

All I have to say is:

Ostatnio edytowane:
The Western companies are just going to double down
They could probably afford to in the past, but that money is drying up fast.

The past decade or so there were a number of "new normal" pills everyone was supposed to swallow like good little cows.

Because the cattle remain non-compliant, there hasn't been a significant return on investment for many Western companies who embraced wokeness.

This whole SBI freakout is reminding me of the Starship Troopers ending. They're afraid. They're very, very afraid right now. They think that just by hiding their direct involvement will absolve them of their crimes against entertainment. People aren't as stupid as they think they are. Sure, you'll have the regular consoomers and shills buying up the latest AAA slop, but for most of the general audience? They're now being made aware of what's actually going on and are actively fighting back by simply not buying anything associated with these people. Expect the usual cries of "RRRAAACCSIST" and "BIGOT" to continue as they lash out and can't seem to figure out why they're not making any headway.

The Marxist framework their entire thought process that was programmed into them can't FATHOM the simple idea of "Freedom of Choice". That's why they're blaming capitalism and lashing out at it. We don't have to buy your shit. We'll continue not to buy your shit until you go bankrupt and learn a lesson from it.

At this point, I think most people don't care that the AAA space might collapse onto itself, so they're more open to doing whatever it takes to make sure it happens. There is alternatives, it's not like video games die out if all the big companies go out of business and stop making games overnight. It just means that the slop factory stops, and everyone continues playing their games in peace or waiting for new releases from more competent developers or fan projects.

I hope one thing people never forget is to always keep the receipts. Make lists of people, make lists of games, make lists of companies that are doing this shit and spread them as far as you can. They can do nothing about it, and once they're on the list they're blacklisted from gamer's shopping lists forever. Give them the taste of their own medicine and cancel them.

don't get your hopes up too fast on that one.
a handful of wall street investment firms reevaluating their esg policies is one thing, but the underlying ideology still reigns supreme in the wider entertainment sector, in various government institutions, and in academia. from those bastions of power it continues to seep into everything that comes in contact with them.

The Chinese Room, despite the name, is British. They are currently raping the Vampire: The Masquerade: Bloodlines sequel to death.

However, be of good cheer, there is a promising Vampire Skyrim Mod being worked on.

Fwiw Saga is fine and the annoying podcaster couple is a small part of the game (do with you could smack them a bit)

The other black people are ~2% of NPCs aka a similar % in the IRL PNW

I'm pretty sure it's from a web show tie in or something related to Alan Wake.
I'm 99% sure it's from Quantum Break, a Remedy game that.... Didn't do well.

All games from OG Alan Wake onwards are living in their own connected universe

Why the fuck is The Chinese Room getting Bloodlines 2? They haven't made a single game with actual gameplay.
These are the guys that made "Dear Esther" and that crap Amnesia sequel that killed the franchise until it was rebooted.

That's why, they're dirt fucking cheap. Paradox already blew their load with the original team.

Heheh well she's kinda SoL because of what Alan writes actually happens (including major details about her life lol)

Amusingly she has a white husband and 1/4 black child on the game (as far as she knows)
Damn, this shit is depressing. I was looking forward to Alan Wake 2.

I really hope this is going to get more traction. Sounds like something that Upper Echelon Gamers would cover.
The game is still fun and full of Finns, get it on sale like it is right now
