I didn't even realize that one post was nothing but comments from the thread! And she must have dug through the thread for a while, my post was from back in February!

The edits are so great because it deconstruct a heavy situation with humour. Any slice of life comic with 4th wall break, or characters with special powers would come across as "lolrandom im so random lolololoL" and be lame. But Assigned Male ain't slice of life it's bale of straw. So take the serious situation depicted within and add some magic, fictional elements, and it's waaay funnier. I think it does a much better job to sensitize people to trans issues than Sophie's work, because of the comparison it makes. It's like "Hey, if you replace trans with this thing, you see, it's no big deal right?" and then the reader is like "Shit, that's true man, it's no big deal... cool".

Like, my Kill la Kill comic. I didn't get what the dad did in the original comic. But change him into a hardcore weaboo and add some anime logic to his problem solving skills and it's way more hilarious.

They consider trans women, eunuchs and intersex people as separate genders (something like that anyway) which is transphobic, as it's reducing people to their bodies, whether birth defects or surgeries they've had, and considers trans people to not be real men or women, but of course more than two genders = instantly better.

I could at least see society accepting that idea (of trans being an "extra" gender) much more easily than Sophie's "my penis is female" type of... thoughts.

But I'm pretty sure a lot of SJW's are not overly tolerant of Jews so I'm positive many would find it problematic if not horribly transphobic. Remember what Sophie thinks of Israel, lol.

That's cool, Sophie. Except most people probably won't ask, unless you're being hella loud and vocal about being trans or they're dickweeds tryin' to be funny. So I've been reading the comments on each and every edit she posted in her FB albums (also to find if anyone I knew was a supporter) and I noticed a trend. Her commenters "do to us what we are doing to them".
They discuss our edits and criticize them, saying our logic is bad & shit.
