Kala "Tunnel Girl" / Pranavi Kalavathamma Lorei / Jacob Thomas Lorei / @engineer.everything / TikTok Tunnel Troon - Extremely uncanny & autistic hinduboo

Haha, welcome to the Stinkditch forum, Tunnel Girl.
I hate this. I want him moved back to lolcow where he belongs.

I have mixed feelings. He is a troon, but his lolcow status has more to do with his overwhelming autism rather than tranny politics. Plus, there's more overtly political troons like Chuck Clymer, Jessie Gender, and Munroe Bergdorf that are still in the general Lolcows forum.
Thank you. Mods, undo this damage and move it back.

Interesting comment from the snark reddit. What if the "ghosts" are gas leaks?

Can we talk about the ghosts

So now that more info has come to light about Kala's qualifications (or lack thereof) I just really wanted to talk about this. On her TikTok she has 2 videos where she talks about how her house might be haunted. Apparently three different people she rented one of her rooms to reported having hallucinations and feeling unwell. One of her renters left after getting sick.

I and a number of other people expressed concern in the comments that there might be, y'know... MINE GASSES at play, but she seemed confident that her ventilation system and the geological makeup of the area couldn't mean that.

Now, I love a good ghost story, but I'd like to hear from other people whether the area or her project could hit pockets of gas. Or just produce enough carbon monoxide to cause visits and feelings of dread.

Or do we think she really has a haunted room and closet?

The ghost idea might just be a quirky story he came up with to cover the weirdness of his roommates leaving, but carbon monoxide and other gas leaks can easily seep up from underground structures and create hallucinations, nausea, illness, etc. I hate the idea of there being a solid basis that his roommates are experiencing anything like that.

Can't get it now because I'm on mobile but there's a video where he's measuring radiation/radon I assume and he's like "the readings are a little high but no higher than they were upstairs".

TLDR: This guy should wear electrically insulated boots and try to keep everything as dry as possible. He should also run everything near the sump on GFCI circuits, with the actual GF devices attached to the ceiling well away from any water.
I'd worry about inductance and inrush current associated with large motors in general with the circuitry he's set up, so if one standard GFD per motor isn't working, he needs a larger number of smaller motors, or he just needs to stop. The wiring in general, after it's been lifted off the floor, looks pretty standard for someone's house. It's obviously not what you would want in a commercial building or a mine, but it probably won't cause an electrical fire on its own. I'd worry about metal burs and sharp edges cutting the insulation, especially in the presence of vibrations. If I was doing it (and didn't care about the electrical code) I'd wrap the wire bundle at each contact point in foam copper pipe insulation and then wrap that with electrical tape. Wires on the ground should be avoided if possible and checked for abrasions and cuts before every use. Common wire insulation is not very heat resistant at all, and permanently degrades during temperature excursions, so he needs to be very careful when doing and welding or soldering. Any wiring that's been even indirectly exposed to fire needs to be replaced as soon as possible. I could possibly talk to a former electrical engineer about the setup, but I'm still sketchy about the distances involved.
I don’t know which video you’re referencing but in this one it shows the fixed installation:

And then here he shows how he’s using the NEC book and talks about grounding.

It all looks pretty reasonable and safe to me. All in conduit, a few separate circuits, all on a GFCI.
The loads he’s running are small - vent fan will be less than 50W, pump might be a bit more, but nothing with crazy startup current.
Frankly an extension cord hung up along the wall would work just as well so apparently he’s going the extra mile to do it right (perhaps to comply with mine regulations or something).

Only thing I’d advise it to have some low voltage battery backed lighting, so you can find your way out if the breaker trips.

How does the gas mix? He's got air pumps going, so it's not like most gasses would stay where they are. The radon daughters are the problem anyway, right? Those can probably get blown around pretty easily. Has he read the manuals for the meters? How long is it supposed to take for them to reset to a baseline level after exposure? Do they need to be calibrated regularly? Does exposure to radon mess up the calibration?

The fact (s)he hasn't died yet (or murdered a bunch of alpacas) is proof that autism can overcome troonism. The Autism community may actually survive the transition wave!

I think they’ll get some sort of reprieve in court somewhere from the city and start their project over and attempt to complete as much as possible before anyone can stop them on an appeal. Or one of their neighbors or roommates snaps and takes him out from all the hammering. “Stop the hammering.”

If he was my neighbour I'd be Hank Hilling like a motherfucker: not just because he might sinkhole my property but because I'd probably have to call him "her" when complaining about it to others. It's not my neighbourhood though and a fat tiktok journalist said that the neighbours are all illegal immigrants so I'm willing to let him tinker in the earth until it swallows them all up like some kind of lovecraftian horror.
Hell, easier to deal with a hank hill then this guy for a neighbor...Dale would have NEVER allowed the completion of this underground farce...

I think it's good. Maybe a path to redemption before he cuts his weiner off.

Also, that fat bitch that tries to PL in her response TikToks: IMHO - she has no knowledge and just wants to shit on men (stronk woman can do anything).
If she was a geologist/engineer/tech she wouldn't be making TikToks. If she is, she warms a seat. Nobody in mining gets that fat.
She’s a professional geologist and I hope she keeps making TikToks about this so other PGs don’t have to powerlevel (she doesn't have engineering experience too though so she can't criticize the tranny for using fucking grout in a tunnel with saprolite, where you need to use gunnite/shotcrete to rapidly stabilize it before a big chunk cleaves off and squishes him like a womp in Mario).

It’s most likely to fail early unfortunately. He’s already gotten past the part where failure is most likely, so we must hope he keeps digging. I want him to make the tunnel spiral down under itself so that the upper floor fucks with the lower floor.

There is actually an episode where Dale makes a tunnel from his house to hanks house, I think it is the one that Hank goes to anger management or something a long those lines. So, probably were this failure of a human ended up getting this wacky ass idea.
