What continues to surprise me is how little influence the people in his life have over him or how little they care. One thing I always believed, despite everything, is that Drexel and Nick are friends. I don't know if Drexel is just baffled as he is a teetotaller, but you can't watch your close IRL friend of 20+ years humiliate himself and destroy his earning potential and do nothing. I think it depends on how his appeal does. If he wins his appeal, he's fine. If he loses his appeal, I expect him to settle.
