Even if Marine dad realized Lester wasn't gay he still would have shot him because Lester thought HE was gay for the scene in the garage. His son knew what he was doing for sure.

Looks like Rackets lost the first rule of his streamer boot camp in a bottle of whiskey and he's still looking for it. What was it again? Show up? Must be in there somewhere.

Hey fags enough with the discussing this fag movie. The movie is a dumb jerk off about how Hollywood writers think everyone in the suburbs is miserable and anyone masculine is secretly gay or they’re a pedophile, it’s not that deep. Now can we get back to discussing the non practicing lawyer who has a glass and bottle almost semi permanently attached to his shaky hands and rants about a Balldo?

The whole gay subplot of the movie is probably the most oscar-baity aspect of it because it's transparent red meat for the lowest grade of arthouse fags in Hollywood.
Like Dick "I liked the gay parts" Masterson.

The producers were going for the whole "homophobia comes from repressed homosexuality" thing.

Honestly, that's probably the least objectionable thing in the whole movie. It's overwrought, but the Colonel Fitts character is at least somewhat believable. You can argue that Fitts tried too hard to confirm to societal expectations. It turned him into a violent (and ultimately murderous) asshole. It is heavily implied he is neglectful/abusive towards his wife.

Dick seemed poised to agree with that, but then Nick took him on a wild ride about how fucking underage girls is "life improvement." He dialed up the non-conformity to a point where even Dick seemed visible uncomfortable.

That's funny to me. If it were just Nick monologuing, it would be uncomfortable.

That’s not the W he thinks it is. Even Shane MacGowan (RIP IN PEACE) could get through the odd concert without liquor. But just like Nick, he’d make a beeline for it as soon as he got offstage.

Again: Nick Rekieta will never, ever stop drinking. Being a heavy drinker is more of a nonnegotiable part of his self-identity than being a husband and father.

Pathetic.
I was lucky enough to see The Pogues live, years ago. Shane shuffled onto the stage with a pint and lit up a cigarette (which security made no effort to stop, based,) and every other song he'd wander off to get another pint. He was completely sloshed from start to finish but what was amazing was as soon as the songs started he was on top form; he nailed every single one and it was one of the best gigs of my life.

My point is, even as a hall of fame alcoholic, Shane MacGowan was infinitely more professional than Nick, able to give the fans what they wanted even while indulging his addiction. Nick can barely bother to turn up to slur his way through a low-energy stream while sitting on his pock-marked arse.

So I just remembered that Nick's rumble contract was signed on Dec 6 and starts on Jan 1. Anyone find it strange that Nick is being silent on this? He has been harping about wanting renegotiate the terms in a major way (no yt switch, also no locals switch, etc). I think with big changes like that, one would have to start negotiating about that months ahead and he would already have an idea which way the wind's blowing quite a while before the actual sign date.

Plus it's the holiday season, with christmas and new year...I doubt rumble would do last minute paperwork this way so it's a bit strange that Nick hasn't already gloated about getting the renew by now, especially since he'd relish at owning kf (he thinks we think he won't get renewed). Is it possible that he's retarded enough by now that he's just not giving enough of a fuck to do anything about this? I just read about sonicfox whining about him breaching contract cause he can't be arsed to do a promo tweet twice a week for an event. Is nick on that level of retardation? Is he retarded enough that he wants to renegotiate major parts of the contract just a couple days before christmas and expect rumble to just go 'okay' and not freak out?

Or has the deal fell through and he's now just flying with the control yoke detached and too afraid to tell anyone?

There's a very thin window between Hanukah and Christmas, like 10 days. Hanukah isn't going to stop many business deals, but with Christmas on a Monday this year, a lot of people are taking time off the week of the 18th. Businesses runs on inertia between Christmas and New Year's Day, nothing substantial happens then.

Good point, if a deal isn't signed soon- maybe seven days from now, or as soon as this Friday? Depending on Rumble's manpower... Anyway, if not soon, it's not getting inked this year.

These are the only things I can find when he has talked about it so far.

Nick apparently thinks that the reason why people aren't in his locals is because it's too late. He definitely thinks that the Rumble view count is completely accurate and he probably can't figure out why it's not converting to Locals subs. It must be because it's so late.

What is the sales pitch to join locals? What is the gain from it? I haven't heard him say beyond the 5k grift gift that is still not delivered. An exclusive stream? What's special about this stream I want to pay money for?

I think Nick hasn't made a pitch that convinces people who aren't already broken individuals like the remaining super chatters to part with money. Its the same with a lot of youtubers I see, "become a channel member to get discord access" why? Is there a benefit there?

I think Viva Frei at least sells his locals on the back of the whole Sunday stream is viewable in its entirety if you are on locals which is not much but at least its something and the Sunday stream is a legal news roundup with Robert Barnes, something people might want to watch. What is good about balldos content lately that convinces people to part with Money who weren't going to part with it impulsively anyway?

It's because those view counts are utter bullshit.

"Freeze Peach."

That's the angle he's tried to push really hard, anyways. Then undermined himself when people started criticizing him. I think, at this point, he's basically given up trying to push it anymore. He seems to have embraced the idea Rumble should just give him money for basically turning on a camera and existing.

That's a very arrogant and presumptuous idea. Let's see how long it lasts.

And not just live. Most of the recorded stuff he did on TV he was completely fucking bladdered. There's some footage of him singing with Christie Moore and he's out of his fucking tree, but the performance is completely sublime.

I always say that the worst thing about Shane McGowan is that he isn't Luke Kelly, but every now and again, the student surpasses the teacher and this is one of those occasions:

I think Nick has been relying on the offer of a parasocial relationship to keep people subbed. After all, $5/month isn’t much even for NEETs and wine moms — hell, Spectre can swing it if he walks instead of taking the bus for a few days.

Except it seems a lot of people, including OG fans, are no longer interested in being connected to Nick.

Is there ANY metric of his that hasn’t crashed since he signed the deal? Just asking.

Nick: I want money from corporations. I don’t want donations from the lowly working man.

Also Nick: Why aren’t you joining my locals? What’s wrong, don’t you have $5? (Licks bottle) If you’re a poor boy just say so.

If anyone at Rumble was even paying attention to his streams, they might be a tad miffed to hear this message coming from someone they’ve paid based on his much-vaunted ability to attract lucrative engagement for their corporation. Saying you’re not interested in (the equivalent of) superchats on Rumble, when Rumble getting a cut of those is a major reason they signed you, is kind of fucked up. Especially since no one believes it.

Exactly.

Some people here have disagreed with me, but I truly think they thought they were getting a legal show. I think they were (unstandably) impressed with the view numbers he was pulling in during live trial coverage, and wanted in on that action. Same with the Superchat figures he got during Vic. During Weeb Wars, he was one of the top Superchat earners on YouTube. Most of the content he did pre-Rumble was legal stuff.

Did they renew them? Will they renew him? I dunno, but if they did/will renew him, I don't think it's sustainable with his current mind rot and work ethic. Rumble's stock is looking pretty rough.

This might be a controversial point, but I almost want to say YouTube's rules helped Nick overall. It forced him to avoid acting like a complete jackass, and to play to his strengths (even if, in hindsight, he's not a very good lawyer). Being able to operate in a more laissez faire environment seems to have invited complacency and a belief his personality was more important than subject matter.

Edit: Edit.

You're not wrong about YouTube. Most of the time their ToS is gay, but in Nick's case it kept him from getting wasted and wiggering out all the time. At least back then he stayed on track more
