Someone a few pages back compared Pat's comedy to Chris-Chan and I can't stop seeing it. Old reference/incoherent joke with too many words that only makes sense in his head. Here's a couple recent Random Access Humor tweets:

The first one sounds like he is trying to steal a joke about mimes from Terry Pratchett.
The problem is, most people know what mimes are and how they can be a bothersome irritation in the streets, they make terrible buskers, etc etc.
Slam Poets are very rare and would only be seen in quite specific events. The few people who are bothered by them are probably not young writers.
The second is clearly something that never happened, and even if it had, Mark Ruffalo would probably not try to explain anything to them. He would just head towards safety while his agent and security led the fat one and people whom he paid to be friends away.
It's unfortunately very obvious why he failed almost as hard at being a stand-up comic as he has as an author.
He just isn't funny. It's not that he has a deeper understanding or makes wry obscure references. It's not even that he is dry or dark in his approach. It's just a total lack of understanding on how to be funny.

It's the only kind of humor these soy golems are allowed to have because anything actually funny, like Norm MacDonald, is offensive to them.

Yo I know I’m sounding real tinfoil here but I’m not convinced of pats innocence wrt the bernell murder. Those shitposts that compare pats bike and body, the bend of his back, etc to photos from the scene where the murderer rides off on a bike give me the willies. Between his anger, his politics, and his weird tweets following the murder (the weird masked selfie with the red face, the nature is healing tweet…) idk man.
