The reason why he's so interesting is that you get to see such a large range of emotions in such a short span of time. Most lolcows are frankly boring by comparison. They are for the most part lazy bums and you've got to wade through hours of tedious autism just to get a nugget of gold. Our boy here doesn't waste your time. You get the highest highs and lowest lows in less than a minute. It's dare I say kino.
Then there's the weird vibe to watching someone destroy their lives right in front of your eyes in the level of detail and intimacy we get. Call it schadenfreude or whatever but it's an almost uniquely Internet thing. The decline for most people is fairly slow, happing over the timespan of years, here you get to see it happen in real time.
Seriously though, gambling is honestly on of the worst addictions. A crack head might try to steal the eyes out of your head when you aren't looking but they can be sated. A gambling addict will do everything a drug addict will do but their hunger for the addiction can never be filled. Addicts aren't really Human, at some point the addiction takes over and at that point there is nothing they won't do for the high.
