I have a cousin who in his early years believed he was Mickey Mouse for an entire year, and another year insisted on being referred to as "Doctor____," and in another phase insisted on being referred to as "Frank," a co-worker of his father's.When I was four, I thought one of my teachers was a man because she was a larger woman who preferred to wear shorts/trousers.
And I was a kid that went through phases of gender nonconformity before the age of 10 when I started to get more into stereotypical boys/guys things.
Kids are fucking weird; they have enormous imaginations and often funny senses of what is real and not. Guess what: that cousin grew up to be a normal human being, not a mouse, not a doctor, and not a random guy named Frank. Amazing.
