Journoslime are beyond embarrassment and shame. The *reporter* knew full well that the bomb threat was a lie. The reporter knew the power cut off was very questionable. He just chose to ignore lies. Never let the truth get in the way of the story and never do any work to verify any aspect of the *story*.

The Pests are on it, for all the good it will do. NBC news is not known for honesty, or for taking responsibility until they are hit with a lawsuit.

On the bright side, it appears Nikki was wearing something other than her yoga/capri pants-tights. Now if only she would wash her hair once in a while, and while at it, wash the rest of herself.

This is why I disagree with people who think Pat's too dumb to swat himself. First of all, it can't be that hard to swat someone given the absolute morons that have been doing it so far. Second, false swatting attempts have not, it appears, been investigated much if at all, let alone perpetrators found and prosecuted; there's the guy who actually got someone killed, but loads of internet dramatards have been involved in swatting and none of them faced legal consequences. Third, we know Pat loves a false flag. And fourth, if you want a big-brained, Pat-level scheme, having him amp up the numbers on his swattings, not just by pretending they're happening but actually making a few of the calls himself, and then going all in on trying to get the perpetrators unmasked is a real 'going to find the real killers' vibe that seems Pat's level.

It all fits his profile. Of course that doesn't prove anything - we really have no idea who called in what or when, just that more than half haven't been what people think of when they think 'swatting', let alone even real. But I have no reason not to believe Pat did at least a couple to himself in some fashion, especially the ones that happened when he wasn't at home, such as when he was off at cons. Posters were wondering why he'd be so eager to pump up his swatting numbers - well, what's more Pat Tomlinson than having a cunning plan to make himself the biggest swatting victim then have it backfire because it turns out he did some himself?

Tl;dr: It remains plausible, there's no evidence he didn't and it's far funnier if he did.

Many states have anti-SWATTing statutes, what she says "doesn't exist" (as the piece then goes onto talk about how federal statues are already used to "prosecute swatting") is a federal statute for something involving local police. And then she clarifies further that what she really wants is more than "a slap on the wrist" successfully completing her role as an "expert" with an agenda who has snuck past the truth in a story with no balanced presentation of the issues to advocate for the death penalty or whatever the fuck advancing the "progressive" agenda of strengthening the federal police state.
