The Grand Seiko is a lovely watch, but you're going to get bent over and rogered like Nick on a visit from Drex if you ever have to resell it.

They're also a bit 'old man' for my tastes as well. If I wanted a dress watch, I'd definitely take a Grand Seiko over anything in Rolex's line-up. But a dress watch isn't really me. Whereas there are a whole load of the Rolex sports watches in stainless steel I'd be happy to wear. Submariner, Explorer 1, Milgauss, Daytona, GMT. etc. They're all iconic. The only real problem with them is that they're massively overpriced. They were overpriced when they cost less than £5k. You are correct about the clip being the one in question and the interpretation of the poster's intent. TMF seems awfully proud of it, but I did not bother to loop back through Nick's stream to see if he played it or not. Now that I have timestamps, I could have gotten within about 15 minutes, I realise...

You are also correct myself being an American fag about getting to it in a timely manner. If I were thinking, I would have jumped right to it, but I have been super busy again recently.
