I personally would love to see receipts of this, since we're discussing "actual evidence". I don't see it impossible. Branca is prone to his collection of childish fits. That doesn't make him less likely to be a detractor though. In fact, his unpredictability makes him more likely if Nick somehow taps into his narcissistic hidden subquest.

I don't particularly care if @JudyGemstone is Faran or not. In the interest of fairness, they probably should say if they are. If they aren't, I can understand the fun the ambiguity can create. However, Faran definitely had beef with Branca, so this kind of petty "did he really?" attack would be right in character for her, especially after Branca went in hard after Faran and her sister. Just another data point to add to the "maybe?" column.
