This troon persecution complex bullshit of "Conservatives are foaming at the mouth to kill all trans folks" is such a crock of shit, putting aside the fact that this constant shit is exactly the thing that's setting off paranoid nut jobs like that fucking Hale bitch to go on shooting sprees, it's just fucking cringeworthy to see this shit getting spread unchallenged.
I live in a small town that's extremely Conservative to the extent that troons are as rare as rockinghorse shit, and Conservatives I know don't even fucking think about troons unless it gets shoved in our faces.
No one I know is plotting this alphabet genocide, I'd say the general sentiment is just a wish that we'd never heard of the fucking things and that it would be great to not have to hear about them again, and most Conservatives I'd say feel the same, if they didn't have this urge to force themselves into every fucking thing under the sun no one would care.
Like most Conservative folk, the attitude from my experience is leave us alone and we'll leave you alone.
Thing is live and let live isn't enough for these creeps, they want total submission, if you're not bowing down and licking the ditch you're "genociding" them.
