Whoever Rick hired to write his scenes for this last episode or two needs to be fired. There was so much promise for character development after Rick's main prop was destroyed in the cenote, and Rick's arc would benefit from an episode of self-reflection with a hope for redemption, but the writers fucking ruined it and gave him the phone back without any drama or struggle. They wasted a perfect opportunity to expand the character and chose to rerun the swatting scene three times in a day?! It's lazy bullshit writing and maybe they're running a meta-arc to pair it with Rick's lazy writing later in the season or something, but I don't like it.

The brothermen writing jokes always provide laughs, it's the best part of the show hands down, but Rick's writers need to DO. BETTER.
