She said it because she clicked a link to make money with BTC.

I'd presume GN to be doublechecking their own security protocols, changing passwords just to be safe, going over what not to click/download with their (much, much, much) leaner staff, and preparing a video, or at least a segment for their next news video, on what not to do when a channel you're subscribed to has that Elon 'livestream' pop up

Well that explains why I was subbed to 2 different Tesla youtube channels today.
I promptly unsubbed thinking I either misclicked, or youtube was artificially subbing people to Tesla for some reason. Part of me thinks youtube needs to have a subscriber rollback feature for times like this, but you just know they'd abuse that for their agendas.

I imagine this will be a huge financial hit to LMG as a ton of people will be unsubbing unwittingly like me.
Linus has been saying that they have cash flow issues right now because they massively increased their staff, purchased another location, and purchased a ton of super expensive equipment. Doesn't help because the SVG situation may impact them indirectly through their sponsors.

Pretty funny timing though. On WAN show last week Linus and Luke talked about how Luke would be overseeing the security stuff at LMG in addition to his work on floatplane because they've been having their staff cobble security together in addition to making videos, rather than hiring real staff to do it.

as an LTT fan i just find this fucking hilarious. Goes to show that nobody is safe from being a fucking moron no matter how much they act like they are. Not that anybody thought Linus was anything but a moron.
