I think it's partially spite. It's not just the AGPs themselves, there's a strong undercurrent of male AGP/TRA "allies" & supporters that are clearly somewhere on the spectrum. Many of them have little to no friends IRL and still clearly have a bug up their asses about being universally disliked as children.

A lot of the parents of such kids ("high functioning" but annoying autists) have a tendency to try to force them on other children when they're young. Feel free to trash me, but this whole thing doesn't sit right with me.
