You forget how scrupulous Nora Reed is about not using their audience for ill. They would never just tell somebody with such a concern to fuck off! You must be mistaken.

That person seems to be one of those who's basically always threatening suicide. If anything, it shows that while Nora might love using that sort of manipulative garbage herself, she can hardly even pretend to give a shit when it's someone else.
