I'm probably the most woke leftie here, and even I voted for Mark Latham for the Legco last election.
Speaking as a former Green voter, it is madness to move people from a place where people don't need to pollute much to a high pollution society like Australia. Especially when they'll be more likely to fly-back-and-forth for family reasons. The Green Party is the worst for the environment, and if you care about nature, The gun-nut Shooters and Fishers' party have a reason to keep the wilderness and ecosystem thriving, and the Sustainable Australia party have an anti-Immigration stance spare from all the reactionary policies of 1N.

Yet again the government for whatever reason (what even is the justification anymore? skills shortage?) decides to open the flood gates to the third world. For once I wish they would actually put our interests ahead of whatever globohomo plan they're cooking up but apparently that's too much to ask for.
I guess the silver lining is it's basically vaporware right now and almost certainly the useless fuckups running NSW at present will be kicked out in favor of another group of useless fuckups who will want to upend or at least rebrand this thing (for entirely political reasons) which will delay the shit out of it even further.

My parents came here and worked their asses off to give me a better life. Now, I do OK for myself and am above a low income job. That’s just the cycle of immigration. You have to keep importing the losers to clean toilets and work the night shift at petrol stations but their kids demand more out of life and get high paying email jobs or work as programmers. Then you need to import that generations lower income bracket to deliver packages and stock shelves and we keep going around and around. We’re trapped in a loop with no escape and eventually the bottom is going to collapse.

When I was still working in the sciences, 70% of my co-workers were imports. When I was last laid off, i was offered the same wage I'd gotten when I first started in the industry twenty years ago. Granted, I didn't have a full degree and that strongly influences your wage, but the idea that I'd had a fuckton of experience across multiple disciplines and they were still refusing to pay me what was by then, was a living wage was insane. Most people who study the sciences in Australia don't stay in Australia. The cost of a scientific degree is prohibitive, and when you graduate they won't even give you enough to live, let alone pay back your loans.
That's why some industries are being effectively run on immigrant labour. None of the people who are qualified can afford to actually work in the industries they're trained for. It's beyond fucked up.

You're are assuming the system is operating fairly. It's not. I see the jobs posted for Aboriginal/TSI only, with extra perks and benefits. So I assume theres a similar informal pipeline operating for refugees.

Aboriginals cluster with Melanesians since they're from similar migrations out of Africa and they have the blonde hair gene. But otherwise, yes. Basically Australoid tribes were the first to leave Africa, but left at different times and aren't particularly related to each other. Most intermixed with Denisovans (a sister species to Neanderthals, Papuans are most mixed at about 5%, Aboriginals are second most mixed at 3%). Some Australoid tribes got stuck on islands and evolved into the Negrito peoples like the Sentinelese or Paleo-Filipinos, others were gradually assimilated by the ancestors of the Mongoloids like the Vedda of Sri Lanka (apparently the Vedda are the remnant of more widespread Australoids in distant southern Indian prehistory) or Ainu of Japan or the few Australoids who made it to the Americas (a few Indian tribes in California, Baja California, and Tierra del Fuego).
The Australian Aboriginals were before the 20th century among the most pure Australoid group, since they have very limited genetic inflow from outside groups and actually have diverged within Australia. IIRC there were three subraces in Australia. The Central Desert-West Australia race has the blonde hair gene, the southeast Australia race in Victoria/New South Wales/parts of South Australia had somewhat lighter skin (but is extinct now since they're all very well mixed with whites), and the "Carpentarid" race in the NT/northern Queensland has the darkest skin and since they aren't as mixed with other races is thus the stereotypical Aboriginal.

So, to answer your stance, no, although there is great genetic difference between Zulus and Somalis, Matabeles, Xosans and so on, Asians and Europeans are very unrelated to each other. But you are right, the Aboriginals are very unique since they remained unchanged for the said amount of time, between 40,000 and 50,000 years.

I agree, I feel alike. However, they are ungrateful buggers, first they come over, then they manage to find racism even though it's not there, to the point they are offended by you asking where they are from when they are wearing fucking leopard pelts (only worn by prostitutes in our western society), they want more money after they send all their Centerling through Western Union back to where they crawled out, and finally they ban prayers in councils, because it somehow violates human rights whilst restricting freedom of religion doesn't. And they even want to cancel public Christmas celebrations because they find the local religion offensive.
I wouldn't mind them, but they Kill Our Culture, Steal Our Jobs, Buy Up Our Houses, Live Of Our Taxes, Commit an Apeshit Load of Crime, and are hostile in general.
If they don't like who we are as a nation, the borders are open, they can leave, but I will not have a fucking smile on my face when they shit over my turf.
