I think it's extremely pressing for a political leader to address the 51ish% of the population who have had some basic social decencies and safety measures removed- to say, effectively, no, you're not 'menstruators', and your being isn't a costume. And that I'll try and reduce the incidence of public spaces where you now, since being made unisex, face rape.
And it's pressing because the media is only starting to cover this just now- and people are pissed.
That's a pretty big deal for a nation's populace- while 2% may be trans, it's made all women less safe by abolishing boundaries between women and men.
Promising safety is a pretty big raison d'etre for politispeak, alongside train strikes or cost of living. Who cares about the trains when your elderly mum can't even be on single sex ward in the hospital without some fetishist bunking next to her, legally?

I agree that the trans issue is important, but I think it's pretty obvious that the Tories are latching onto it as a talking point to distract from other issues. The media has been talking about this for years and the PM has only stopped pussyfooting around it now because he sees that this is a weak spot he can exploit to claw back support from people who went over to labour because they were sick of the tories fucking everything up.

The tranny issue is just becoming a political sideshow on the public stage. Yeah I don't really like being refered to as a 'uterus haver' or whatever, but I also don't like this ridiculous bickering that's going on in government over the stupid tranny bullshit. It't not going to stop, it's just going to keep going forever, sycling through the news every few months. The guy is a hack, he can tell you nothing about what's true and what's false from just body language. It's fun to listen to sometimes but it has nothing to do with reality. He pretty much just says what he thinks his audience would like to hear. If the popular sentiment is that a person is bad he finds reasons why that's true so that his audience would eat it up. He misjudged once or twice and the audience didn't like it so he backtracked. He won't this time because he knows troon backlash is severe. Backtracking is not what actual experts in a credible field do. He's not that so no wonder.
Anyway, the video is just him pandering and sucking that insect's dick. The dislikes on the video are fucking POPPING. It's much more unpopular than his usual videos but the comments are suspiciously clean of any dissent. A few got through here and there but I'm sure they'll be gone soon. The comment section is bizarre, all top comments have low likes and not much discussion is happening. It's just very obvious they're always deleting. It's all so gross. One important takeaway here: in the UK and the US, politicians are discovering that they can score points by speaking out against troon antics. This is a significant change from 18 months ago when cuckservatives were tripping over themselves to proclaim that Love Is Love and Trans Women are Women.
