I assume, both because it's funniest and because of the nature of conventions, that this would likely be the end product. I don't see Nick putting in the time or effort to stay in contact with the artist and travel to get it finished. Even if it is only the line work and it's intended to be finished later on, it still looks pretty bad, imo
