Wow, the delusion is very strong in this one.

Ole Zoey is really painting herself as the victim of Eronny's attempts to extort money and attention out of her. Sadly the usual suspects will just eat this bullshit up like always and it becomes part of the narrative.

I'll give Eron points; he probably bleed Zoe out of a lot of funds. Those high power law types charge $800/hr for basic work, this must cost Zoe a pretty penny over-all. At least Eron crowdfunded his costs and had decent lawyers who worked for free and or scale to help him out.

I guess we will really see in a few months if/when the appeal gets heard by the court who sets what precedent.

On the flip side, this blog by Zoe is so chocked full of easy to disprove shit that its a golden moment for the Gator'z. Almost everything she posted is a half-truth or out right lie that can easily be exposed.

That's because what Zoe got a court to do was so staggeringly unlawful it is a threat to free speech in general, not just to Eron.

That's why Eugene Volokh joined as amicus.

From watching Volokh for a long time, I have one thing to say. If Volokh is against your legal position, you are on the wrong side of the law.

Dropping this is at least in part an attempt to short-circuit the appellate process by making it moot. The fact that having an order like this against you in your history, though, means Eron actually has suffered a legally cognizable harm from this unconstitutional order and has the right to have it removed from his record.

A wise and at the same time stupid move, a wise move because let's be clear here, she was losing, and losing bad, the SJW's were monitoring the case very closely to use Zoe as an example of what happen to abusers aka "people who piss me off" in court, she was going to be a "hero" for them creating a precedent for future SJW fuckery, after the canada debacle they were putting so much expectation on this, and she saw that there was no way that she was going to win, so she dropped everything after wasting tons of money and tried to portrait her as the victim, like kia called standard DARVO protocol

A very stupid move because now she failed to push the narrative and this was the last chance for her to be relevant, the consensus of the feeling cabal is to throw her under the bus as a useless asset that failed to fulfill her purpose, expect a decline in her patreon and making her twitter account private, for all purpose she gave a victory to GamerGate, something that the SJW's see as Extremis Diabolus

I feel so sorry for Jesse Singal right now. For the crime of not bowing to SJW outrage, he's already declared a fully converted shitlord no matter what he claims, by no less than pedophiles like Nyberg and every other crazy ass tranny. Katherine Cross is still (despite that apology he forced Cross to say earlier on defaming him) trying to smear his name into the mud, and while he may never change his mind on GamerGate, he's now considered a gator whether he likes it or not.

Yep, given how many articles about how "Zoe was bullied to drop charges" suddenly appear in the day, I doubt she is going to get thrown out the bus. That also proves how balls deep she is with SJW groups to not get shame out after this kind of fuck up.

Pretty hypocritical and shameful in how tried to save face with "don't trust the police" and comparing it with race issues by some weird logic.

I’m tired of watching people hand out “just go to the police they’ll protect you” while I silently scream and bite my tongue, because I know the advice-giver is giving horrible, ignorant advice. It’s so much more complicated than that, and if someone decides to go to the cops about their abuser they should be doing it with a more informed and prepared plan than I ever did. They shouldn’t have to have their lives hijacked for years to find out that that’s what they were even risking in the first place. I wish I had those two years back. The least I can do to make that right is to be honest and open with the world while trying to reduce the cost of maneuvering through these systems. The least I can do is try to succeed at getting my life back where the courts have utterly failed.

I look forward to when these crazies have to face the world without a single ally, after they have shit all over everyone outside their tiny circlejerk willing to defend them. They're just shooting themselves in the foot here, in the long run.

This is the direction they're headed in. When an ideology gets more and more extreme, and the crazies run around unchecked, they'll drive out the moderates. The group becomes more extreme on average, and continues to drive out whoever is on that retreating moderate edge, however far it goes. Eventually, nobody will be left except crazy people that nobody else likes. Ironically, a lot of social justice came from opposing things like the religious right, which went batshit insane for the same exact reason.
 
I will admit to some small level of schadenfreude at Singal's expense.

But WTF did he expect? You never, ever, ever go against the narrative.

He's an enormous pussy and cuck who let Zoe Quinn openly abuse him in public for their entire relationship.

Much of the emotional impetus of goobergrape was that Zoe "Five Guys" Quinn was able to somehow portray a completely pathetic nerd like Eron as a perpetrator of domestic violence rather than a victim of it.
